This is my first Theme that I've made using extra smarty xoops code as well as the normal codes for menus and placements. I decided to put a Menu across the top this time as well as greet messages below the header, which will vary depending on whether you're logged in or not. As well as this I've added a javascript realtime clock which shows the user their computers date and time. This accompanied with some nice background images in the header and titles (I think they're nice anyway lol), makes for a different Theme than my others so far and hopefully one which users will like.
The header of this Theme is using 3 images in total. My two logos are aligned left and right via the CSS and the fluero light background is repeated and not fixed.I've released this Theme for Download in my Download's section. It's exactly the same as waht you see via the theme selector apart from some header menu items and the two header logos are blank so that users can simply add their own text or images onto them with their Photo Editor. I have left 'just enough' room in the center to allow for the default sized banner that comes with the default XOOPS CMS to fit in there, when the user has Banner Ads enabled. The header is also flexible so it stays the same no matter what size the browser is as well. The Menu across the top in the headerbar is set for the paths to my own modules but the theme.html is be clearly marked with Comments, where the user can edit the menu to suti their own modules and links. i've also put links to the top of the page, at the bottom of each column for sites with long pages. Those are clearly marked in the theme.html as well. I stuck with most of the original layout and tables, apart from adding my own for the header and also editing the 'center' related .html docs by removing the 'fieldset' and 'legend' tags, which removes the rounded border around the center content. Without removing both of these tags I found that the block titles could not be controlled via the CSS, so both tags had to go, so I could set my own borders and added the '::' before and after the titles into the source of those .html docs. I didn't go with a background images in the body for this theme as I thought there was enough to be loaded as it was. So the only images I made were the header images and the footerbar and headerbar images, oh and the title background images in left and right columns. Pretty basic stuff ![]() I tried to make the colours not too dark, but at the same time not too bright as I wanted to have a kind of Glow effect, hence the name, so I hope I got them pretty well balanced. Not everyone can be pleased, so each to their own. ![]() I might be making icons to match this theme in the future as well. Anyway feel free to discuss this theme and ask questions, or offer suggestions on it in this topic Enjoy ![]() |

I liked that guy. He loved his dangerous job. People have actually started killing stingrays where they find, as I have read on many places. Why kill stingrays if they killed a man ? , he also taught us to respect wild life.
